Continued sucess for the Cybil x Remi kids! Penny took BISweeps in Iowa and Caden and Ducky go WD & WB at the Emerald Cluster in Eugene Oregon. Ducky follows this up by going BOW for her second major. Thank you Debi Adams for doing a great job handling this weekend!

Ironwood had an impressive weekend at the Western Washington Whippet Association Specialty! On Friday under breeder judge Joetta Melton, Summit Ironwood Decadence picked up his first AKC points with a 4-point major by going winners dog and making the cut in the breed ring. His sister Emily was RWB. Dazzle took an award of merit while her sister Lucy won the breed. Saturday under esteemed judge Bo Bengston brought an award of merit for Bella and a second WWWA BOB for Dazzle! Annie, AmCan Ch Summit Some Days Are Diamonds won best veteran. On Sunday Summit Ironwood Just Ducky was RWB under George Bell.

Apparently our Cybil X Remi girls are ready to hit the ring in earnest now! Ducky (Summit Ironwood Just Ducky) blew us away with a 5 point major at the regional specialty in Oklahoma in an entry of 35+ bitches. Her sister Emily (Summit Ironwood Creme Brulee) took a 3-point major in California under Judge Mr Luc Boileau. Way to go girls!

We had futurity placements for Can Ch Summit Ironwood Pretty In Prada, Summit Ironwood Tony Soprano, Summit Ironwood Decadence, Summit Ironwood Creme Brulee and Summit Ironwood Just Ducky.Regular Class Placements included Summit Ironwood Tony Soprano and in puppy bitches, three littermates from the 2007 Cybil x Remington litter: Summit Ironwood Creme Brulee (2), Summit Ironwood Orange Marmalade (3) and Summit Ironwood Just Ducky (4). Am/Can Ch Summit Some Days Are Diamionds took 4th in 7-10 veteran bitch sweeps.
